I smell VICTORY today!

I was scheduled for a pre-op physical (prior to the procedure to place the chemo port) today with my PCP. He made my day by sharing the results of all the tests on Friday. I had a MRI, 3 CTs and a Bone Scan. All the test results contained no specific evidence of metastatic disease. In my terms, the cancer exists only in the left breast and has not yet invaded my lymph nodes, bones, nor any other organ in my system! Can you hear me?!? I am shouting shouts of joy and praising our God! Thanks for the prayers! Keep them coming!

Mary, I don't really know you very well, but we are Stacy Carrick's parents, and she loves you so deeply that we are sharing her concern. We know first hand how important the prayers of others are, since we both have had illnesses where God saw us through due to the prayers of our Church family. We know He will do the same for you. You will certainly be in our thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Wayne & Joyce Lee

Great news!!! Yes, I hear you shouting with joy and thanksgiving. When I orginally saw the boxing gloves, all I could hear in my head was the announcer before a fight -- Lets get ready to RUMBLE!!! You are a strong and mighty fighter who will win. You and your family are in our prayers. We will continue to pray for healing, strength and encouragement. Love, Cheryl, Todd and Micaiah

  23. Now Thank We All Our God....we have WON the first 2 rounds in this fight.
We won the 1st round with the strength and determination YOU have to fight this head on with the power of prayer from family and friends.
The 2nd round was won with the wonderful news from the Dr. on Monday.
No matter how many rounds it takes we are behind you all the way.
I have put a pink cancer band on my wrist in your honor and I will not remove it until I hear the bell...either by a KO or by a decision in our favor.
Our prayers and love are with you in this fight all the way.
Love to you, Dan and the kids.

  27. Mary,

God truly does hear our prayers! Cancer is never a diagnosis we want to receive but the fact that the tests confirm that it is localized and that it has not invaded the lymph nodes is the best case scenario. These results combined with your strong will to fight, which is more than evident in this awesome blog, can only equal success. We applaud your positive outlook and willingness to let us all share this fight with you. You and your family are constantly in our prayers.

    All our love and support,
Brent, Norma Jean, Lawson, & Tressa
