Hanging in there!

Hello all, This is Mary's sister again, just wanted to give you a quick update on Mary. She did have her first treatment on Monday, even though she got through it like a trooper, it has wiped her out! She seems pretty good just very tired. I know she will be updating her blog real soon just keep checking as she has a lot of things going on. She is VERY excited for the football scrimmage tomorrow night, so go BULLDOGS!! Thanks so much for checking on her and please Fr. Emil Kapaun heal Mary completely and KO that darn BEAST, AMEN!

  1. That darn chemo has that effect :) Make sure you get enough rest and take good care of yourself. Even though you fight like a superhero, your body needs a little rest every once in awhile. I hope all is well and I'm saying my prayers. Glad you have a lot of people there to take care of you!
    Love you, Doc

  2. Mary, it's frustrating to be so tired, but get your rest so that chemo can fight the "beast." We're all pulling for you and know that you will win the "battle." Sending continuing love and prayers. Aunt Liz

  3. HI Mary,
So glad your first treatment is in progress and sounds like you have done great. Between the chemo, meds, and everyday stuff, it is normal to be tired. Please take care of yourself and rest when you need too. Keep the faith and hang in there. You will beat this thing.

  6. Mary,
I have been praying for you since I heard. You are a fighter and I am sure you will win this fight. I agree with the Ole Henry determination and fight you will beat this. Your Dad is with Jesus and I am sure he is doing all he can to help you. Knowing him he is probable playing a round of cards with him too.

Just know you are loved and everyone is praying for you. All you can do is take it
    ONE DAY AT A TIME!!!

    Love and prayers

I just heard about all this yesterday. Will be thinking about you and praying for you regularly! You will fight and beat this thing, no doubt in my mind!

Will be at the golf tournament on the 20th, and let me know if there is anything I can do to help!

  8. Keep hanging in there. I agree Go Bulldogs! We won't be playing golf, but if we can help out other than helping Dickie with the meat, let us know.

    Love ya,
